I booked here after driving 2.5 hours to another hotel that had overbooked and cancelled my reservation without telling me (at the end of a long day and navigating Indy rush hour traffic). I called the local 317 number and Tyler was super helpful, got me set up in a king room, and said he would see me soon. I show up and find out that Tyler wasn’t local (surprise!) and HE had overbooked the local hotel! Luckily the sweet girl at the front desk was able to get me into a two queen bed room but come on! Don’t misrepresent where you are located -I called the local number and you pretended to be local. And then you can’t get me in the right room! The good news is that the hotel is brand new, it was super quiet (I’m assuming because there are less vacationers), the beds were comfortable and I actually slept sounder then I do when I sleep at other chain hotels that cater to more business travelers! My only recommendations (from a female traveler) would be to put a full length mirror in the room and a toilet seat cover on the toilet to avoid anything flying off the counter or from the shower into an kind toilet. Silly things but other than that, I was pleasantly surprised!

The location is great for my needs. Because of the cleaning policy the rooms could use some extra work. However I am here to work not entertain guest

1-18-2022 I booked this place because we were visiting friends in the neighborhood and having diner at the hibachi place down the street. After reading reading the reviews, I was horrified, and thought what did I get us into?!?! When we arrived, the front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The lobby was clean, and aestheticly appeling. You could not go anywhere into the building past the lobby without a room key card, so there was good security. There was also coffee in the lobby. They also had where you could buy cookware for $24.99 and dinnerware for $14.99. (However they were currently sold out when we stayed). The laundry room had 6 washers and 8 dryers (5 top load washers 1 front load). The laundry room was very clean and had a table to fold your clothes also. The room we stayed in had a queen size bed, chair, desk, full size fridge, a 2 hot plate stove, microwave, and a sink. It was small, but clean. I walked around with white socks on, and the bottom of my socks had a little discoloration on them, but nothing more than I would have at my own house. There was no dust laying around. Bathroom was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice, relaxing, stay. There was some noise as people started moving around about 7am, with some doors slamming and dogs barking, but that only lasted about 15 minutes. Everyone was complaining in other reviews about the noise, about the property being dirty, about the staff not cleaning up their rooms, and not giving them more shampoo and pots and dishes....we had none of those problems with the noise or dirty accommodations. As for them coming in and cleaning up your rooms...they are not your personal maid service. That is YOUR responsibility! Also buying shampoo is also your responsibility. I rent, my landlord does not clean my place and buy my shampoo, nor would I expect him to. I'm a Hilton member and a Blugreen member, so when I vacation and stay somewhere for an extended period of time, I usually stay in some top end accommodations, and they never come in and clean my room for me while I'm staying...they only time where I have those type of accommodations are when I go to an all inclusive resort, or go on a cruise....and this hotel, is not either one of those. It seems that the people complaing are the people who are staying for longer periods of time, and who seem to forget that they are getting their room at a discounted rate the longer you stay. I would definitely stay here again. It was very reasonably priced, and near alot of things. Handicap accessable.

Woodspring Suites Whitestown Indiana (40 day stay) Overall 4.5 stars I will start this review by stating that I was moving from Texas to Indiana and needed a place to stay in an extended fashion. The caveat was that we had a 40lb Great Dane puppy. That limited where we could stay and after reading the reviews I decided on the Whitestown location. ***** - Staff - 5 Stars. They are the highlight of my stay. Friendly and courteous and always liked seeing our pup, who gained 20Lbs during our stay. I cannot say enough about how we felt about the staff there. We did not ask for many things as we purchased what we needed and kept our room clean and such so never needed room service. They had treats for the pups and got to know our dog very well. **** - Room and Facility 4 stars. The only reason for 4 stars was the room size but it was functional. The bed was comfortable. The amenities were fine as well. We had to buy some dishes and were able to cook meals but no oven. The fridge was large and nice. The things I had read about the elevator being used all the time I did not see. It was rare when I had to wait but that is to be expected. There was an exercise room that was well maintained but I never used it. Toilet paper was typical motel type so we bought Charmin , that single ply is rough. Why even make that crap? ***** - Exterior/Interior 5 stars. I never had but only on two occasions an issue finding parking. To the facility that is a good thing and means they were booked. The inside was always cleaned and well kept. There was plenty of room to give your animal exercise and walks. The facility is well maintained and they even had carts to get groceries up to your room. I just wish some guests would clean up after their pet. We did, but not all did. ***** Guests 5 Stars. This had me worried when I read the reviews but after being there for so many days you get to meet lots of people. At no point was anyone rude or anything of the sort. The reality was we got to meet and know folks. A good portion of them had pets as well and as you can imagine some dogs do not like other dogs but it was more than manageable. Elevators might take a bit longer but the good side is our dog got to know other dogs and they got to interact after the initial meet. This was the highlight in my mind. Good folks and friendly. We were there a long time and never had an issue. We kept to ourselves most of the time as I got home from work and we called it an evening etc. ***** Costs 5 Stars – This was entirely reasonable for what we had and everything we needed was close by and readily accessible. No issues here. So in conclusion, we would recommend it if you needed a place to stay for a little while. To be honest, it was much better than I had imagined, especially after reading some of the comments but I had no issues. If back in the area, we will stop in and say hi as we just plain liked it there. I did not see a lot of children so I have no comment on that. Most were workers and wives as in our situation.

This place is very clean. It smelled fresh the minute I entered the room. The blinds were open for view of meadow. The light next to bed was on for a mellow glow. The air conditioner was on so you didnt have to come into a hot room and wait for it to cool. I had requested one queen bed. Soft and comfortable. I slept like a baby. The price is right because it included a kitchenette. Bath room white and bright. Nice size too. I have paid more for just a room with micro and small fridge. It was quiet and friendly. I highly recommend WoodSpring Suites.

The room is a nice size. The cabinet space provided makes it easy to store lots of things. They don't provide any dishes like some of the other Woodsprings Suites I've stayed at, but it's still a nice place. The beds are super comfortable. The only thing I have a complaint about is the hot water. It takes forever to heat up, the doesn't last very long at all. Been there 4 days now and still haven't completed a shower with hot water.

After reading reviews I was concerned about the place. The room was clean. It smelled faintly of cigarettes. But, the sheets were clean. The price was right. Front desk staff was friendly. If you need a basic room with no frills, then stay here. Oh, all the rooms were booked with construction people. And since the rooms have cook tops....it did smell amazing in the hallway.

My room is clean and comfortable with plenty of natural light. I have enough storage space for all my clothes. The mattress and pillows are good. The location is fantastic, right next to several restaurants, a grocery store, and other shopping. Two improvements I recommend are having an iron with ironing board in the room, and being able to borrow dishes, silverware, and cookware at no additional cost.
